JOB DESCRIPTIONS

BARISTA: You have a passion for great coffee and tea. You have an attention to detail and commitment to quality that goes above and beyond. Coffeehouse beverages are hand crafted masterpieces and you are the artist. With great coffee comes great pastry and food to accompany it. We pride ourselves on offering homemade, gourmet treats to accompany all our drinks. Service and preparation of these items goes hand in hand to round you off as a skilled Barista. A neat a tidy appearance, punctuality and dependability, cash handling skills and attention to detail round out the ideal candidate. Customer service and foodservice experience is required. Must have or be willing and able to obtain Food Handlers Certification. Fort Erie Applicants must also have or be willing to obtain Smart Serve Certification.  

SUPERVISOR / TEAM LEAD: The title says it all, you are a leader. A leader for us is someone who embodies all the skills of a talented barista and exudes passion to instil those same values and talents into a team. Our Supervisors and Team Leaders are hands on working side by side on the floor with the rest of our team. We look for reliability, dependability, flexibility in scheduling and a calm and collected individual that can perform well under pressure will motivating the rest of the team. 

 

PASTRY / BAKERY: As an establishment that prides itself on making all our product in house, we are always looking for talented Bakers and Pastry Chefs to join our team. Our production kitchen is located out of our St. Catharines Shop. MARKETING & EVENTS COORDINATOR: We are looking for an established Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our team on a Part-Time, leading to Full-Time contract who can take us from anonymity to extraordinary.  In business, it is always a balance between what projects get your attention. We recognize the need to elevate our brand and make us look as good in print, media and events as we are on the inside. This would be a flexible role with some travel between our locations and occasionally out on special events. Day to Day duties include basic graphic design, ad development, marketing material creation, management of all social media platforms, special events (internal), special events (external), booking and managing client events in house (St Catharines Location Event Centre), website management (WIX), general office and clerical duties, responding to email and phone enquiries, updating online listings, maintaining clients databases, managing customer loyalty programs, etc. If you have a dynamic resume that sounds just right for such a role we would love to hear from you.
